Cloud Security Engineer

We're hiring aCloud Security Engineer (DLP / Data Protection)inMexicoto strengthen how we protect sensitive data acrossMicrosoft 365/Azureand our broader security stack. This is ahands-on technical role with strategic influence—you'll build controls, tune them in production, and drive adoption with key stakeholders. Work model (Mexico): Hybrid, with a possible requirement of1 day per month in our Mexico City office (Insurgentes Sur area),subject to office availabilityWhat you'll do Own enterprise DLPstrategy and execution across endpoints, email, cloud services, and SaaS—Microsoft Purview DLPplus integrations (incl.
Palo Alto). Configure and continuously optimise policies to protectPII, financial data, IP and client data;reduce false positivesthrough tuning and data classification refinement. Build and maintaindata classification frameworks,sensitivity labels, and information protection standards aligned toGDPR / ISO 27001 / NIST / SOC2. Investigate DLP alerts, performroot-cause analysis, and deliver corrective actions; developDLP incident playbooksand reporting/metrics. Integrate data protection controls intoSOC/SIEM workflowsand support incident response activities involving data exposure/leakage. Contribute to recurring security stack reviews and improvements (O365, mail security, IDP/Entra, etc.).
Stack you'll work with (real engineering scope) Identity & Privileged Access:Active Directory,Entra ID, privileged accounts,PIM/PAM MDM / Endpoint management:Intune,ManageEngine Endpoint Central Mail security:Proofpoint (or equivalent), message flow & delivery investigations,SPF/DKIM/DMARC, FP/FN optimisation, phishing remediation, internal phishing/training releases EDR:CrowdStrike(investigation, forensics, remediation) Network / WAF / SASE:Palo Alto,Cloudflare, firewall & WAF policy management, switching & wireless fundamentals,SASE, traffic investigation / threat hunting Vulnerability management:Tenable / Rapid7, end-to-end remediation lifecycle + monthly vulnerability statisticsWhat we're looking for 8+ yearsin information security and3–5+ yearsin a similar engineering role. Proven hands-on delivery ofDLP/data protection in production(ideally Microsoft Purview DLP). Experience inregulated or data-sensitive environmentsand strong security fundamentals. Excellent written and spoken English; ability to communicate with global stakeholders.
