The client is a steadily growing, modern accounting firm supporting small to mid-sized businesses across the U.Their clients include landscapers, roofers, web designers, doctors, and other busy small business owners they value deeply. They offer a monthly subscription model covering bookkeeping, business tax, and personal tax services, allowing them to support clients year-round. They are proud to be ranked in the top 10% of accounting firms nationwide on Clutch. They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to lead new client onboarding.

Lead Zoom calls with small business owners to understand their business and accounting
Take new messy clients and clean up their bookkeeping, streamline processes, connect bank feeds, update chart of accounts, then hand it off to a teammate for regular monthly bookkeeping
Clean up existing Quickbooks Online files, as well as open new Quickbooks online files
Understand and connect CRMs such as Jobber, Hubspot, ServiceTitan and Square that integrate with Quickbooks online
Make sure the prior year tax return matches the bookkeeping

5+ years experience in accounting and bookkeeping
~2+ years experience in Quickbooks Online
~ Tech savvy - able to navigate Zoom, Slack, etc and learn new software quickly
~ Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members across digital channels and an innate desire to build relationships
~ Bookkeeping skills, general knowledge of payroll and accounting principles
~ Accounting degree

Flexible schedule (40 hours per week (typically 8:30-4:30 ET but schedule is flexible)
~10 days PTO and all US federal holidays off
~ Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Vacation Leaves and Holidays : While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client.
