Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Strategically manage the procurement process for technology goods and services (hardware, software, IT services), ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance, cost savings, and alignment with business objectives. Additionally, oversee the proper administration of service contracts for the Mexico market.

Your Impact

As an Indirect Procurement Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with unique or specialized suppliers.
- Manage bidding processes and lead projects for PepsiCo Mexico (USD $100K+).
- Identify opportunities for supplier rationalization and contract consolidation to maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with key areas (Functional Area, Legal, etc.) to ensure compliance with policies and strategic objectives.
- Develop metrics and executive reports to measure the strategic impact of procurement (savings, risks, added value).
- Manage relationships with strategic suppliers, assessing performance and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Anticipate supply risks and propose mitigation plans.
- Ensure proper implementation in PepsiCo Mexico for regional/global projects.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field; postgraduate degree desirable.

Experience

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Specialized Services.
- Strong knowledge of strategic negotiation, risk management, and market analysis.
- Advanced English for interaction with global teams.
- Proficiency in procurement platforms (SAP, Ariba, etc.) and analytical tools.
