$3,000 – $4,000 USD/Monthly Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST) Job Overview Our Client is a fast-growing real estate management enterprise specializing in the acquisition, operation, and optimization of mobile home communities and multi-property residential portfolios nationwide. Managing a rapidly expanding footprint of over 22 parks, they combine operational rigor, community engagement, and strategic asset management to drive property performance and long-term value. Driven by operational excellence and strong regional leadership, they rely on experienced multi-property operators to maintain high standards, drive financial yields, and foster positive resident environments across their portfolio. The Role Our Client is seeking a results-oriented, highly accountable Regional Manager to oversee operations across a portfolio of 8 to 12 mobile home communities within their broader 22+ park network. Sitting at the center of property performance, this professional will provide leadership to park managers, enforce operational standards, optimize financial performance, and oversee capital improvement projects. Reporting to executive leadership during U.
S. business hours, this role requires a candidate with strong financial acumen, proven multi-property management experience, and the willingness to travel frequently across the designated region.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Team Management
- Oversees daily operations across 8 to 12 assigned mobile home communities, enforcing company policies, standards, and operational best practices.
- Directly supervises, coaches, and trains park managers, providing regular performance evaluations, feedback, and professional development.
- Cultivates a positive, collaborative team culture that promotes accountability, high performance, and high resident retention.
- Promotes positive resident relations, acting as the final point of escalation for resident concerns and driving community-building initiatives. Financial Oversight & Property Maintenance
- Manages regional operating budgets, ensuring all assigned communities meet revenue, occupancy, and net operating income (NOI) targets.
- Oversees rent collection processes, approves property-level expenses, and identifies cost-saving strategies across the portfolio.
- Coordinates site maintenance, preventive repair programs, landscaping, and vendor contracts across all communities.
- Prioritizes and oversees capital improvement projects, ensuring long-term property upkeep, asset preservation, and risk mitigation. Compliance, Metrics & Strategic Growth
- Monitors regional KPIs through regular property audits, detailed reporting, and site visits.
- Ensures strict compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations, environmental standards, permits, and documentation requirements.
- Aligns regional operating goals with corporate strategy, presenting performance reports and financial forecasts to senior leadership. Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies Required Qualifications
- Multi-Property
Experience:
2+ years in a regional or multi-property management role overseeing residential communities.
- Mobile Home Community Expertise: 2+ years of direct experience managing mobile home communities or manufactured housing parks (or strong multifamily background with equivalent site operations).
- Leadership & Accountability: Demonstrated track record of leading property managers, holding teams accountable to KPIs, and fostering positive team dynamics.
- Financial Acumen: Proven experience in budget management, financial reporting, expense control, NOI optimization, and rent collection processes.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel frequently to perform site visits and audits across assigned communities in the region.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, Rent Manager, or similar), digital rent collection platforms, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- English Fluency: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills for conflict resolution, executive reporting, and team management.
- Culture Index Assessment: Completion of the culture assessment (Culture Index Survey) as part of the initial screening workflow. Benefits
