This Position reports to:

Quality Control Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspect and test parts, products, and systems sourced from suppliers and internally produced. Each day, you will ensure that only compliant items are released to the next stage and finally delivered to the customer. You will also showcase your expertise by employing standard test protocols and applying specifications to ensure quality.

The work model for the role is : #LI-Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrifiaction Distribution Solutions division in San Luis Potosi.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Conducting test protocols, as assigned, to ensure products, systems, or software meet specified requirements and customer expectations in incoming, manufacturing, factory test labs, or final inspection quality, including internal testing routine and Factory Acceptance Testing (F.A.T.) as applicable.
- Supporting quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing and validation, and engineering, as applicable in the local organization.
- Executing and assisting specific quality-related training, promoting a passion for quality and integrity in all actions, with a focus on result orientation.
- Collecting, recording, and evaluating data to be interpreted according to the internal ABB specifications, customer norms, and applicable national and/or global standards while maintaining a high level of integrit

Qualifications for the role

- Technical Career Certificate or Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electro-mechanical, Control Automation, Electronic or mechatronic Engineering required
- 1+ Year experience in Electrical testing
- Lean Manufacturing tools basic knowledge (8Ds, RCA, Ishikawa)
- Electric Safety basic knowledge
- Advanced english (Preferred)
