Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Data Analyst / Data Scientist to partner closely with product management, engineering, and design teams. In this role, you will leverage data, experimentation, and advanced analytics to drive strategic decision-making and support profitable growth across the organization.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Product, Engineering, and Creative—to translate data into actionable insights that shape business strategy.
Serve as the subject matter expert for analytics, experimentation, and data interpretation within your domain.
Conduct deep-dive analyses using advanced analytical methods to address complex and high-impact business challenges.
Communicate insights, trends, and recommendations to leaders across the organization in a clear, compelling manner.
Apply data science techniques such as classification, regression, and clustering to solve ambiguous, data-driven problems.
Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to evaluate product changes and optimize customer experience.
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Looker and BigQuery to deliver insights in an accessible and scalable format.
Requirements
~ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field; Master's degree preferred.
~2+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field.
~ Hands-on experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks for measuring product impact.
~ Familiarity with data science methodologies (e.g., regression, classification, clustering) and agile model development.
~ Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with experience in big-data technologies such as BigQuery and visualization tools like Looker.
~ Ideally familiar with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
~ Creative and analytical problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
~ Experience in eCommerce or retail analytics is a plus.
