ADAS / Powertrain Controls Engineer

About the Position:

We are looking for a Controls Engineer to develop and optimize software for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and/or Powertrain control modules. You will design, implement, and test embedded control algorithms that enhance vehicle safety, performance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and tune control algorithms for ADAS features (e.g., ACC, AEB, LKA) and/or Powertrain systems (engine, transmission, electrified powertrain)
- Model, simulate, and validate control strategies using MATLAB/Simulink
- Generate production-ready C code through automatic code generation
- Support software integration, HIL testing, and vehicle-level validation
- Collaborate with systems, calibration, and hardware teams

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ADAS or Powertrain controls development
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and embedded C
- Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, AUTOSAR)
- Understanding of functional safety (ISO 26262) and ASPICE

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with calibration tools (INCA, CANape) and HIL systems
- Background in classical/adaptive control theory and optimization
- Familiarity with electrified powertrain or autonomous vehicle controls
