Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our claims organization, including client relationships, operational metrics, and personnel management.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Oversee the management of our bilingual desk adjuster teams to ensure efficient and effective claims processing.
- Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Lead and manage a team of claims professionals to achieve exceptional results and exceed client expectations.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective use of resources and minimize expenses.
- Demonstrated experience in customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Solid knowledge of property casualty insurance and regulatory environment.
- Ability to handle complex losses and negotiate with clients.
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of US auto claims experience.
- Previous insurance claims supervisory experience.
- Spanish speaking is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical journals, and financial reports.
- Ability to travel to our office approximately 1 week per month.
