Position Overview

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to enhance our Global Credit operations. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience within a large multinational corporation. Key responsibilities include analyzing financial documents, assessing risk management strategies, and utilizing various instruments to secure customer credit lines. Proficiency in advanced reporting is essential for effective management oversight. Familiarity with SAP or a similar ERP system is preferred, along with a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.

  • Investigate credit escalations and provide prompt, clear responses to support order releases or justify credit holds.
  • Make informed decisions regarding critical credit release requests, escalating as necessary in accordance with established credit policies.
  • Serve as a liaison between the corporate controller group and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to delegated authorities and credit policies for all release requests.
  • Maintain uniform standards for credit approval by enforcing global credit policies and reviewing open credit limits.
  • Establish credit limits for customers by analyzing credit reports, financial statements, payment histories, and local team insights.
  • Conduct analysis of bad debt provisions and assist in the write-off process and risk assessments.
  • Foster strong partnerships across various business functions, including credit teams and corporate controllers.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of processes, priorities, and projects across Credit and Order to Cash (OTC) functions.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven ability to manage multiple strategic customer portfolios effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate customer and portfolio risks, providing recommendations aligned with market trends and company growth strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Bad Debt and Revenue Recognition Accounting principles.
  • Exceptional financial analysis and formal reporting capabilities.
  • Experience with internal, external, and SOX auditing processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent business acumen, with advanced communication skills.
  • Leadership experience in team or project settings.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other major ERP systems in Credit and Finance.
  • Experience with foreign currency transactions is a plus.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
