About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team at Fairfield by Marriott Los Cabos. This is a full-time opportunity that requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Summary

The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment, tools, and facilities. This includes identifying and troubleshooting issues, communicating with guests and colleagues, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with hotel systems, including air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and supervisors to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance.
  • Basic computer skills, including inputting schedules and making temperature changes.
Estimated Salary Range:

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
