About the Role

Altios International is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Service Mechatronics Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and services to clients in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of innovative cooling solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. On-Site Troubleshooting and Repair: Perform on-site diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of chillers, temperature control systems, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  2. Technical Collaboration: Work closely with the technical support team to develop and implement effective solutions for complex technical issues.
  3. Documentation and Training: Utilize technical documentation, manuals, and schematics to assist in equipment repair and maintenance processes, and provide training and support to junior technicians and customers on proper equipment usage and maintenance.
  4. Record Keeping and Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate records of service visits, equipment repairs, and maintenance activities, and collaborate with the quality and engineering teams to provide feedback for product improvement and innovation.
  5. Customer Communication: Communicate with customers in a professional manner, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field, and a proven track record of at least 5 years in a similar role, handling refrigeration and temperature control equipment troubleshooting and repair.
  2. Technical Expertise: Full knowledge of industrial refrigeration processes, and ability to read electrical/mechanical/plumbing drawings and logic manuals.
  3. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the capacity to handle complex technical challenges effectively.
  4. Communication and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing high levels of self-motivation and initiative, and proficient in reading and writing in English, with conversational English skills as a plus.

  1. Technical Expertise: Technical expertise in mechatronics, industrial engineering, or related fields.
  2. Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the refrigeration industry, cooling, and temperature control systems.
