Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Front End Developer to join our team at NTT DATA Services. As a key member of our engineering practice, you will be responsible for designing and developing modern web applications using the latest frameworks and web technologies.

About the Role

As a Senior Front-End Developer II, you will work closely with our team of expert engineers to build high-impact software for our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Expertly writing code, creating unit tests, and assisting with testing and debugging
  • Participating in scrum ceremonies and coordinating with your team
  • Mentoring senior developers and leading the establishment of team best practices
  • Leading technical strategy and serving as a technical point of contact for the engineering team
  • Client communication and managing a team of 2-3 developers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of experience working in web technologies
  • 4+ years of experience working with one or more of the following: React, Angular, or Vue
  • 4+ years of delivering quality front-end code without oversight
  • 4+ years querying SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Ability to set up infrastructure in a cloud environment
  • 1+ years of experience leading a team of at least 2 developers

Preferred Skills

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Comfortable consuming REST or GraphQL APIs
  • Detailed knowledge of git
  • Comfortable working in scrum teams
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Experience with React, React Hooks, React Native, NextJS, Apollo Client for GraphQL, Yarn, TypeGraphQL, EmberJS, Unit Testing (Jest, Enzyme), NodeJS, Express, and Apollo Server
