Job Summary:
As an Operations Coordinator at FedEx, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front-line activities. This includes administrative tasks, coordination, and support for our team members and customers. Key Responsibilities:
• Enter airway bills into our system on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform daily entry of Time Cards information into our PC system, maintaining up-to-date records.
• Handle D/T packages and inform customers of payment, providing exceptional customer service.
• Gather information for various company reports, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Answer phones, transfer calls, and take messages as required, providing a professional and courteous experience for our customers.
• Prepare paperwork for outbound packages, ensuring all necessary documents are complete and accurate.
• Assist customers by answering questions on basic features of our service, providing clear and concise information.
• Perform miscellaneous typing, filing, and secretarial duties, maintaining organized and up-to-date station files.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
Requirements:
Education:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
• Three (3) years of clerical experience, with a strong background in administrative tasks and customer service.
Skills:
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• Excellent human relations, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizing skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Data entry and general office skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC typing (25/35 WPM).
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
• Clear and articulate speaking voice, with excellent customer service skills.
