About the Role
The role of a Silicon Alliances Ecosystem Development Manager at Canonical is to drive the growth of the company's ecosystem by developing strategic partnerships with leading semiconductor companies. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for collaboration, developing joint product roadmaps, and driving delivery and go-to-market plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Canonical and its solutions to partners, developing a deep understanding of their strategies, technologies, and roadmaps.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams to facilitate new business and lead the definition of joint products, solutions, and complex programs.
- Develop joint Go To Market strategy and campaigns with silicon partners, manage market messaging, collateral, and launch plans across products.
- Negotiate successful contracts and ensure robust project plans are created, tracked, and executed.
Requirements
- B.A / B.S / B.E degree in science, technology, and/or engineering.
- Fundamental understanding of the semiconductor industry and ecosystem.
- Experience in software and system architecture is preferred.
- Customer-facing experience in business development, technology strategy, or similar functions.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to grasp complex material and synthesize key points.
