Payroll Senior Specialist

Ingredion Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Senior Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with multi-state/country wage and labor laws, and providing excellent customer service to employees, vendors, and managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage workflow of pay groups to ensure bi-weekly payrolls are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Process and audit employee updates related to compensation, job changes, transfers, garnishments/levies, and terminations.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies, process adjustments, and manual checks.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employee, vendor, and manager inquiries.
  • Ensure that all Quarterly and yearly tasks are completed, including required quarterly reporting.
  • Audit Time Off Benefits related to Leave of Absences and timesheet transactions.
  • Audit 401(k) monthly, quarterly, and annually to maintain compliance with plan specifications.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 4+ years payroll experience, including both exempt and non-exempt payroll and knowledge of union implications to payroll related processing.
  • Strong knowledge of policies and procedures of payroll.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential material.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills.
