**Job Overview**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at the JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa.

**Responsibilities**

As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and hospitality in our guest rooms and public areas. Your tasks will include:

  • Responding promptly to guest requests and providing exceptional service.
  • Supplying and transporting carts to assigned areas.
  • Entering guest rooms following established procedures and ensuring vacancy before entering.
  • Replacing guest amenities and supplies in rooms.
  • Replacing dirty linens and terry with clean items.
  • Making beds and folding terry.
  • Cleaning bathrooms.
  • Removing trash, dirty linen, and room service items.
  • Checking that all appliances are present in the room and in working order.
  • Straightening desk items, furniture, and appliances.
  • Dusting, polishing, and removing marks from walls and furnishings.
  • Vacuuming carpets and performing floor care duties.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you must be able to:

  • Follow all company and safety policies and procedures.
  • Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Properly store flammable materials.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs.
  • Assist individuals with disabilities.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Support team to reach common goals.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
