We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Engineer to join our team at 890 AVAILMED, S.A. DE C.V. in Tijuana. Reporting to the Equipment Management Manager, this role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and repair equipment malfunctions in a cost-effective manner.
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations as scheduled.
- Assist process technicians and engineers with equipment installation and removal.
- Research and implement corrective action reports and process tracking mechanisms.
- Record equipment logs and provide daily activity information.
- Set up and calibrate laboratory equipment for testing and evaluation.
- Disassemble and inspect equipment components for defects.
- Align and repair component parts and circuitry.
- Develop formulas to solve measurement and calibration problems.
- Assist engineers in formulating test and calibration plans.
Requirements:
- Advanced English language skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
- Ability to allocate work to a team of fitters.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and computerized systems.
