As we continue to grow rapidly, we're seeking an exceptional Machine Learning Engineering Manager to lead our data strategy and deliver tangible results that support our mission.

About the Role:

As the Machine Learning Manager at Baubap, you will be responsible for overseeing the ML team, balancing internal priorities, external requests, and unscheduled work. You will instill best practices, execute on deep learning efforts, and mentor teammates to improve models and content moderation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide guidance, knowledge, and tools to Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to ensure their success in their roles.
- Lead and mentor team members, providing feedback, guidance, and support to align them with the company's mission and vision.
- Collaborate with ML Engineers and Data Scientists to understand their challenges and provide data solutions.
- Regularly review and audit modeling processes and methodologies to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in deliverables.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team by organizing training sessions, workshops, and encouraging attendance at relevant conferences and webinars.

Requirements:

- At least 8 years of software experience in leadership roles.
- Proven experience building and deploying ML models in production environments.
- Experience with cloud technologies in AWS or GCP and container systems such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Passion for building platforms and infrastructure excellence.
- Excellent communication and people engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Python and MySQL.
- Strong experience with the complete Machine Learning Pipeline (Feature engineering, ML model training, evaluation, and monitoring).
