At FedEx Express México, we are seeking a skilled Operations Handler to join our team. As an Operations Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe delivery and pickup of packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient and safe delivery and pickup of packages.
- Verify packages for proper labeling, legality of content, and special requirements for hazardous material shipments.
- Prepare necessary paperwork for package delivery and pickup, including airway bills and delivery records.
- Seek additional business from current customers and inform Station Ops. Manager and Sales of changes in customer/competitor efforts.
- Load and unload company aircraft and vehicles in a safe manner.
- Audit package size and weight and sort packages accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with FedEx safety policies and procedures.
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and secure manner and perform basic vehicle maintenance.
Requirements:
- Middle School degree or equivalent preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
- Basic English Skills.
- Experience operating ramp and warehouse equipment preferred.
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
- Must be able to work variable shifts and have general vehicle maintenance experience.
