Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Production Planning Specialist to join our team and support the Flavors & Extracts business. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and supervising production processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily customer orders and confirm delivery dates with the customer service area.
- Review and analyze MRP detail messages to place raw material and packaging requisitions with the purchasing area, ensuring accurate quantities and delivery dates.
- Develop and implement efficient production plans, coordinating with relevant areas to achieve short- and long-term goals.
- Monitor and follow up on production progress to ensure timely delivery of products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Biochemical, Food, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- At least three years of experience in production planning and materials management.
- Extensive experience in inventory planning and control, as well as purchasing raw materials.
- Strong understanding of OTD performance metrics and experience with JD Edwards/SAP systems.
- Proficiency in Excel and Access.
