Transformative DevOps Engineer

We're seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to drive a major transformation within Capital One. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to marry data with emerging technologies and create solutions that meet regulatory needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to create robust cloud-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver powerful experiences that drive financial empowerment.
  • Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Ruby, and Go, as well as Container Orchestration services and CM tools.
Requirements:
  • Intermediate-Advanced English fluency
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 6 years of experience in DevOps Engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in Cloud Native technologies
  • At least 4 years of Unix or Linux system administration experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of DevOps Engineering experience
  • 4+ experience with coding and scripting
  • 4+ Experience with technologies Apache Mesos, Marathon, or Apache Spark
  • 4+ Experience using build and deployment tools
  • 2+ Experience with distributed database systems
  • 2+ Experience with deploying clustered web services
  • 2+ years experience working within Agile Development Practices
