About the Role
Cognizant is seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Risk and Compliance Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining a robust risk management framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess risks in collaboration with GIT resources and ITLT members, and develop mitigation plans as needed.
- Analyze and evaluate identified risks using a structured assessment methodology.
- Maintain a process, risk, and control framework to improve the organization's risk profile, aligning with regulatory, leading practices, and internal requirements.
- Effectively communicate and create mediation plans on identified and agreed risks, and support management on all levels in the IT organization in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Monitor the delivery of mediation plans and ensure consistent and continual alignment to the business and IT strategy.
- Define targeted and quantifiable reporting of IT Risk Management activities, including all aspects of the metrics/reporting lifecycle management.
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Integrate and coordinate risk intelligence artefacts to gain efficiencies and reduce redundancy.
- Provide targeted reporting to all levels of IT, especially to the ITLT and Business management, on a regular and structured basis.
- Execute, maintain, and oversee technology or GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) tools.
- Collaborate with all technology groups, lines of business, and corporate functional areas to define, gather, and analyze metrics.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in Risk and Compliance management.
- Experience in performing IT security risk assessments and experience in Information Security.
- Demonstrated experience understanding of security principles, IT security controls, and related technologies and products.
- Prior experience in conducting Information Security risk assessments and 3rd party security and data privacy assessments.
- Experience in Project Management.
- Advanced English.
Preferred
- CISSP certification.
- Project management experience.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
