About the Role

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced System Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing our platform architecture. This includes working with stakeholders to understand their needs, creating solutions that meet those needs, and implementing those solutions promptly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and integrate information systems into existing systems infrastructure (Snowflake, Matillion, Qlik, AWS, Tableau, Power BI, Informatica MDM, Cognos) to meet the organization's business needs.
  • Lead a team of system administrators who are responsible for installation, configuration, administration, support, and maintenance of systems.
  • Assess the operation's existing resources, determine any changes that may be needed, and make recommendations to execute cost and time saving opportunities.
  • Management of systems infrastructures, implementing best practices to identify and recommend system functional specifications, and configuration of physical and virtual systems.
  • This position will interface with ITS staff at Solar Turbines and with Caterpillar organizations and business partners to ensure IT systems' integrity, reliability, and quality comply with industry architectural standards.
  • Work with the business and vendors to ensure the right trade-offs are made to meet both business process and software requirements.
  • Work with Data / Solution Architects to solve technology & platform related problems and pioneer POCs and suggest solutions.
  • Stay on top of all latest advancements that are relative to Solar Ecosystem and keep bringing innovations.
  • Should be experienced in creating LTAs for multiple systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in system architecture and/or system administration.
  • A communicator who utilizes critical thinking skills to know when to inform, lead, and listen to drive our business forward.
  • Experience with data security and data access controls.
  • Expertise in AWS Platform as a Service (PAAS) model and integrations.
  • Have either AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
  • Extensive knowledge in firewalls, operating systems, web services, networking, and the cloud.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
