Job Description:

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at North American Production Sharing, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $ $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the quality system, including procedures, records, and continuous improvement efforts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and updating quality procedures to meet internal and international norms.
  • Coordinating continuous improvement efforts with all areas in the company.
  • Interacting with other HFN sites to discuss quality standards and align criteria for specific customer quality requirements.
  • Preparing the internal audit program to verify the effective documentation and implementation of procedures.
  • Participating in product or process validation to document changes and improvements within the process.
  • Coordinating the preparation activities to receive external audits to achieve or renew certification.
  • Training employees on quality standards fundamentals.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering degree (industrial, bioengineering, mechanical, or related).
  • A Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification, with Black Belt desirable.
  • Certification as a Lead Auditor by a certification company (ASQ) desirable.
  • 3-5 years of experience within the quality area and the ISO 9000 certification process.
  • Advanced English fluency.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including the use of office software and application programs (ERP systems, statistical software desirable).
  • Ability to work effectively with remote teams.
  • Proven experience with quality assurance/control.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Possesses strong analytical, planning, and project management skills.
