About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Aptar. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing materials, supplies, and services at the most favorable terms for the organization and in alignment with regional strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the vendor base in support of all site-level purchasing activities, ensuring those activities are in alignment with regional strategies.
- Analyze demand and production capacities, deciding the appropriate action plans, and then taking the necessary steps to ensure we meet customer commitments.
- Work with Purchasing, Operations, Quality, and Suppliers on service issues, process improvement initiatives, and manage overall inventory levels to meet established targets.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to the Supply Chain process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or Operations Management; or equivalent experience as determined by management.
- Minimum 8 years material planning, inventory control or production scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
- SAP experience preferred.
