Key Responsibilities
  • Process Leadership: Lead and manage plating process teams, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to increase yield, quality, and productivity.
  • Training and Development: Create and execute training plans for plating process personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Equipment Management: Manage the procurement, installation, and maintenance of plating equipment and instruments.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure that all relevant documents, procedures, and specifications are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Audit and Quality: Ensure that plating operations are audit-ready and compliant with quality standards.
  • 5S Compliance: Ensure that plating areas, laboratories, and storage facilities are maintained in a 5S-compliant state.
  • Cluster Projects: Lead and manage area cluster projects, such as 6-STEPS, to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Control Limits and Cpk: Improve and maintain control limits and Cpk values to ensure high-quality plating operations.
  • Purchase Specifications: Create purchase specifications for raw materials and new equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's or Graduate degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Language: Advanced conversational and written English.
  • Experience: Experience in electrolytic plating process and problem-solving tools and applications such as DOE, SPC, 8D, JMP.
  • Knowledge: Knowledgeable in FMEA, Control Plan, and Statistics.
  • Computer Literacy: Computer literate with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Chemical Analysis and Handling: Experienced in plating chemical analysis and safe handling of hazardous chemicals.
  • Certification and Semiconductor Experience: Certification in IPC and experience in semiconductor manufacturing an advantage.
