Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, developing operating forecasts, and compiling divisional reports.
- Perform accounting tasks of a difficult nature, following general instructions with a fair degree of discretion allowed for work interpretation.
- Develop and maintain internal control procedures, ensuring alignment with corporate and divisional policies.
- Lead annual burden rates definition and inventory roll-up processes, analyzing and defining costs for new products.
- Support Stars & Dogs analysis by comparing current expenses to standard cost.
- Lead activities related to flex productivity, including expense analysis and control.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with guidance on second balance sheet reviews.
- Perform CI tasks, including cost out validation, process improvements, and usage of lean tools for problem-solving.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related financial field from an accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial departments or 2 years in cost accounting functions.
- Working knowledge of accounting and finance, high computer skills, and communication abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office toolset and 50% English proficiency.
- General oracle knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of lean principles and manufacturing processes.
