Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Training Specialist, Medical Communications, you will oversee and coordinate training and quality programs, ensuring compliance with corporate, departmental, and client policies and procedures. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling and developing training courses and content for all staff members
  • Conducting product or disease state training for staff members as required
  • Monitoring efficiency of training and observing training sessions, trends, and assessing changes in employee performance
  • Modifying training to increase helpful outcomes
  • Integrating training with clients while negotiating organizational differences in culture, management structure, and staffing
  • Conducting call and documentation review of staff member's work and monitoring accuracy and completeness of information provided
  • Evaluating quality trends across the program and providing feedback to the management team
  • Tracking and documenting Quality Events
  • Developing continuous improvement initiatives based on gaps and trends identified
  • Providing support for program-related audits
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years)
  • Comprehensive understanding of applicable health professionals (FDA, EMA) or local regulations
  • Strong knowledge of drugs and drug information
  • Ability to perform call/document review, including complex clinical discussions and provide clear and concise feedback
  • Phenomenal organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to train and mentor others
  • Excellent language skills (comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing) must be proven if the position requires languages other than English
  • Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently as needed
