Fitch Group is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Structured Finance team in Mexico. As a key member of our global network, you will be responsible for providing high-quality credit opinions to investors and other market participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of analysts in assigning and reviewing ratings on various structured finance transaction types;
- Analyze transactions to provide credit opinions, ensuring compliance with Fitch's criteria and models;
- Implement default and cash flow modeling, and analyze transaction legal documents;
- Present to internal rating committees and communicate rating rationale to investors and other market participants;
- Participate in Fitch events representing our views and lead research projects for Structured Finance Latin America.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in economics, engineering, or a business-related field with a focus on finance;
- Previous experience in structured finance/securitization is required;
- Excellent project management skills, database management, and macro-development skills;
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both in English and Spanish;
- Quantitative and analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills;
- Ability to actively participate in meetings conducted in English and Spanish and read and comprehend legal documents;
- Team orientation, with ability to effectively build relationships both externally and internally.
