We are seeking a highly skilled Production Operations Manager to join our team at Adient. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of production workers and ensuring compliance with methods, quality standards, safety regulations, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise production team members and direct daily activities to ensure efficient operation of equipment and adherence to quality standards.
- Review production orders to plan department operations, establish priorities, and sequences for manufacturing products.
- Plan production operations, prepare operational schedules, and coordinate manufacturing activities to meet production and quality specifications.
- Inspect machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and utilization.
- Compile, store, and retrieve production data to inform operational decisions.
- Develop and revise standard operational practices, observe workers, and ensure compliance with standards.
- Establish and maintain good safety and housekeeping practices, communicate efficient practices to subordinates, and assure adherence through inspection and investigation.
- Provide counseling, coaching, and training for team members to ensure a fully qualified, quality-conscious workforce.
