We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist - Treasury to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the treasury reporting area for BU, ensuring accurate and timely reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in SAP and HFM, in compliance with US GAAP and PEP Policy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own quarterly pre-post close reporting (facilitation of an update for BAICs/non-BAICs)
  • Provide timely and accurate forecast and actual data of cash balances to Corporate Treasury to support cash mobilisations.
  • Take complete ownership of cash mobilisation plans including timely reviews of memo / step plans from Corporate Treasury or Tax, updating key stakeholders and execution of the transactions as required by the step plan ensuring appropriate authorisations and documentation are in place.
  • Lead hedge accounting, working closely with the US Hedging Centre of Excellence and Corporate Treasury. Includes review and approval of monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline.
  • Manage the offshore IBM team to close our cash and intercompany ledgers on a timely and accurate basis each month, responding to ad-hoc requests as needed.
  • Manage all bank accounts on a day to day basis and sufficient FX working capital requirements met.
  • Ensure maximum funds deposited daily with European cash pool, FX exposure minimised and full support provided as required to US and Europe Treasury teams.
  • Day-to-day contact for key banking PepsiCo partners
  • Process and Control owner for internal controls, which includes performing risk assessments, operating controls, testing controls and maintaining up-to-date process documentation
  • Drive efficiencies and improvements in areas of responsibility and support other projects as required.
  • Support audit requests (External for Group and Statutory reporting, and internal corporate audit)
  • Own BS Reconciliations control (leading the process, ensure timely completion of all recs in line with control requirement, including preparing support for shared GLs), being an admin for Blackline tool
  • Own and lead monthly BS Review (WD5 activity, part of MEC control)
  • Lead/facilitate annual impairment exercise work for BU (collecting information, preparing relevant memos for review by Sr Manager/AFC, supporting audit requests)
  • Own specific monthly, quarterly and annual deliverables (eg. FMR accounts upload, below NOPBT items monthly control, A27 Estimate Retail Sales)
  • Monitor IBM SLAs and KPIs to identify issues and driving resolutions.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and a professional accounting qualification – ACA / ACCA / CIMA. Knowledge of SAP/HFM, US GAAP, Hedge accounting and Cash flow forecasting would be preferred. Experience with outsourced shared service centres (internal or external) is desirable. Advanced English language skills are essential.
