Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Supply Chain Leader to join our team at General Motors. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team and providing employee development, training, and driving the performance management process. You will also be responsible for managing an efficient organizational structure and executing deliverables in support of our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of professionals in a cross-functional environment to successfully resolve complex supply chain issues and minimize impacts to vehicle production.
- Assess supplier schedules and impact on vehicle assembly production, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative solutions.
- Ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadership, and handle very complex capacity constraint issues to resolution.
- Travel to plant locations when required for onsite support of launch and build-out, and be able to problem tackle complete issues and implement new and innovative strategies.
- Deep understanding of Supply Chain functions and ability to analyze metrics supporting supplier critical issues or sufficiency plan resolution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Required experience in a similar position, from 1 to 3 years.
- Available to change shifts (4x3, 5x2, 6x1).
- English Level: Intermediate.
- On Site: This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis.
