Job SummaryWe're seeking an experienced Tax Specialist to join our team in our Juriquilla, Queretaro location. As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Organizing and updating the company's tax database
- Preparing tax payments and estimates, and tracking tax returns
- Completing quarterly and annual tax reports
- Recommending tax strategies that align with business goals
- Preparing necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
- Sharing financial data with the accounting department to ensure compliance with tax requirements
- Identifying tax savings and suggesting ways to increase profits within tax regulations
- Liaising with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance
- Forecasting tax predictions to senior managers to inform business decisions
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting or related discipline
- 4-5 years of related experience in accounting
- Previous administrative logistics and service experience is an asset
- Knowledge of equipment financing (in particular transportation equipment) would be considered an asset
- Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Good time-management with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strategical thinking
- Fluent English is a must
