Christian Education Ambassador

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English teacher to join our team at The Cornerstone School in Huatulco, Mexico.

Global Education Ministries (GEM) is a Christian organization that provides high-quality education to students from underprivileged backgrounds. Our schools are designed to be gospel-saturated, meaning that every aspect of the school is infused with the teachings of Jesus Christ.

The Cornerstone School is one of our flagship institutions, offering a unique pre-K through 6th grade private education that prepares students for continued education in the Mexican school system.

The starting annual salary for this position is $13,200 USD. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation assistance and fundraising training.

As a Missionary English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of your students by sharing your faith and teaching them the English language. Your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching English classes using best practices and curricula
• Creating a positive learning environment that supports academic, spiritual, emotional, and social growth
• Fostering relationships with students, parents, and the community
• Participating in recruitment, fundraising, and policy-making activities as a missionary representative

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A genuine faith in Jesus Christ
• Fluency in the English language
• A degree related to teaching or a related field (e.g., TESL, ESL)
• An outgoing and adventurous personality, ready to pursue others for the sake of the gospel
• Flexibility of schedule
• Willingness to relocate to Mexico for the duration of the contract
• Willingness to fundraise and recruit for the ministry

Huatulco is a beautiful coastal town in Oaxaca, Mexico, known for its rich local culture and slower pace of life. The town has a population of around 50,000 people and offers a safe and welcoming environment for expats and locals alike.
