As a seasoned IT professional, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing automated metrics generation environments. This will enable our clients to make informed decisions with real-time insights.

About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced engineer to lead our APS-PaaS team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and deploy automation tools that produce consumable content. This includes near-real-time dashboards, trending-over-time reports, and easily accessible products like status dashboards, data integrations, workflows, delivery metrics, customer satisfaction reporting, and efficacy reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and establish automated report dissemination and notification systems using existing Charter licensed tools.
  • Assist the APS-PaaS team in collecting, processing, and distributing data necessary for service deployment into private and public cloud infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to process and technology.
  • Develop an effective feedback plan for the tools used by the team.
  • Utilize Python and SQL skills to visualize and automate complex business processes.
  • Perform data collection, analysis, and validation.
  • Respond to data inquiries from various groups within the organization, working towards providing a robust self-service reporting capability.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in IT project-based teams.
  • 5+ years of experience working with enterprise-level projects, preferably in the cable industry.
  • Familiarity with application development, infrastructure definition/configuration, product ownership, and data mastering tasks.
  • Experience with Jira, Remedy, SAP ALM, or Rally (or comparable) required; JQL experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Smartsheet, Lucidchart, and Excel.
  • Ability to continuously improve features, performance, and usability of automation tools and processes.
  • Strong logical and analytic skills.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a matrixed environment.
