We're seeking an experienced leader to join our Operations team as an Area Manager. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to develop and implement strategies to drive excellence in our fulfillment centers.
You'll lead a team of Amazon Associates, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals. Your focus will be on creating a positive and productive work environment, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. You'll also be responsible for communicating policies and procedures to the team, maintaining compliance and consistency.
Fulfillment is a critical component of our business, and you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and to their satisfaction. The position is located in a Fulfillment Center, and you'll work on a 4x3 or 5x2 schedule, rotating shifts at least 2-3 times per year.
A High School Diploma, 1+ year of experience as a people manager, and 2+ years of general experience are required. Solid English skills (B2+) and a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation, or a related field are preferred. Logistics background from Operations, preferably from First-Middle Mile Ops, and MBA or equivalent are also desired.
