About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Food Safety Specialist to join our team at Little Caesars. As a key member of our Quality Assurance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Quality Assurance Programs: Develop and implement quality assurance programs, policies, and initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage Supplier Relationships: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure they meet our quality and safety standards, and identify and resolve any quality or safety issues.
  • Conduct Quality Audits: Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with our quality and safety policies and procedures.
  • Develop Quality Training Programs: Design and deliver quality training programs to ensure that all employees understand our quality and safety policies and procedures.
  • Investigate Customer Complaints: Investigate customer complaints and develop corrective actions to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products meet regulatory requirements, including FDA, HACCP, and SQF standards.
  • Partner with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Purchasing and Research and Development, to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in food technology and quality assurance, with experience in one or more of the following areas: food chemistries and microbiology, HACCP, SQF, and British Retail Consortium (BRC) requirements and metrics.
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, ability to communicate complex technical data in an understandable way to a variety of audiences, and ability to establish, document, update, and track quality metrics through standardized and accepted process control procedures.
