Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Clara, the leading spend management platform for companies in Latin America, as the Operations Excellence Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across our Credit Desk, Back Office, and Collections operations, ensuring that teams across Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia consistently follow established processes and standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive Operational Excellence: Implement and maintain robust processes and procedures to ensure seamless execution of operations.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities to boost growth and reduce costs throughout the operations process.
  • Best Practices Sharing: Create a system for sharing best practices between operations teams and support Ops leaders in defining their teams' OKRs and measuring performance.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with legal, risk, and fraud teams, as well as finance and product, to ensure alignment on audits and regulatory documentation processes.
  • Product Roadmap Definition: Assist global ops leaders in defining product roadmaps for their squads and raise any issues seen in new product releases.

About You:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in operational roles, with relevant experience in operations excellence in financial institutions, fintechs, or other regulated industries.
  • Self-Driven: Ability to deliver outstanding results without monitoring or guiding.
  • Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Strong analytical skills to dissect processes, interpret data, pinpoint inefficiencies, and develop measurable improvement plans.
  • Strategic Thinker: Deep understanding of product and growth strategies across all countries to inform prioritization of key projects, product launches, and policy updates.
  • Leadership of Diverse Teams: Proven track record leading projects that touch several areas of a company.
