Audit Expert with Forensic Accounting Skills

At Te Connectivity, our Audit Teams are dedicated to developing and implementing internal financial audits that ensure the integrity of our financial records. We employ a formal reporting system to communicate results to management and regulatory compliance agencies as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough investigations into allegations of irregularities, fraud, corruption, and other violations of the Company's Guide to Ethical Conduct under the supervision of the Forensic Manager.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of current internal controls, identify control deficiencies, and recommend remedial actions to operational management, human resources, and law department personnel.
- Develop audit procedures for the prevention, identification, and detection of fraud, ensuring all observations, findings, and conclusions are supported by evidence.
- Provide regular updates on investigation progress, compliance issues, and identified deficiencies to Forensic Audit management and/or Vice President of Internal Audit.
- Promote a culture of accountability and transparency within the organization to reduce the risk of fraud or non-compliance with the Company's Guide to Ethical Conduct.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related business field.
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Forensic Accounting, Fraud Investigation, External/Internal/IT Audit, Finance, or Accounting, preferably with public accounting experience.
- Professional certification such as CPA/CIA/CFE/CISA is highly desirable (can pursue after joining).
- Advanced computer forensic skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, dtSearch, Encase, Clearwell, Tableau, ACL, and IT analytic skills.
- Excellent communication and interviewing skills, with a strong command of written and verbal English (and Spanish for AMER region). A second foreign language is a plus.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of functional linkages, with the ability to interact, influence, negotiate, and challenge management when necessary.
- Self-motivated and strong work ethic individual able to perform job functions with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, global, and complex organization.

The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. The role requires occasional travel (20-50% of the time) and may be based remotely.
