Product Management Leader

The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing both new product introduction projects (NPI) and product improvement projects (PIP) from the customer request for quotation (RFQ) phase to production part approval process (PPAP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring of assigned budget, schedules, and investment flows.
  • Preparation and revision of specifications for the purchase of equipment and/or assembly contracts.
  • Leading and coordinating the mechanical team to ensure the correct installation of equipment that is part of the project.
  • Review of constructiveness and assembly maneuvers in conjunction with the contractor company.
  • Carrying out periodic audits and inspections of the work carried out.
  • Inspecting and receiving mechanical equipment in manufacturers' workshops and verifying that they comply with the specifications.
  • Managing modifications in the field as well as issuance of non-conformity reports and engineering reviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Fluent English.
  • +5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • At least 5 years working in the automotive industry.
  • Extensive experience with customer contact and specific customer requirements.
  • Extensive experience in NPI, PIP, launching projects, and program management.
  • Core Tools, Control Plan, QA Systems, 8D, Layered Process Audits, Lean Tools.
