Job Summary

The Supply Chain Operations Manager will serve as a key partner to the Business Unit (BU), leading demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and direct procurement. This role encompasses high-level risk management and order management accountabilities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with all stakeholders in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to drive demand forecast accuracy, demand fulfillment rate, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute the inventory plan for the market, identifying opportunities for optimization and deployment.
  • Analyze and report inventory variance, ensuring timely resolution and communication of supply issues to commercial teams.
  • Lead commercial meetings to review pipelines, manage country fulfillment, and communicate required parameter changes for cluster/country.
  • Understand, resolve, and communicate low-cover product issues.
  • Manage back-order risks with Supply Planner and communicate to commercial teams.
  • Lead strategic stock build planning for the market, driven by import license registration, M&A, supply issue, etc.
  • Contribute to inventory optimization opportunity analysis and deployment, analyzing and reporting inventory variance.
  • Order management, including replenishment plans, purchase order creation, monitoring inbound POs, and collaborating with global logistics and transportation.
  • Monitor customer limits and rebalance product allocation when needed, in collaboration with marketing partners.
  • Provide country- or market-level feedback to Network Planner and Supply Manager.
  • Lead new product launches and phase-outs within the market.
  • Confirm transfer orders for imported products.
  • Make decisions and approve all supply issue resolutions for imported products.
  • Complete monthly reserve proposals, identifying and communicating opportunities for discard avoidance.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Trade, Logistics, Science, Engineering, Economics, or Business Management.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain operations, preferably with knowledge of import/export processes and SAP/JDE systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and a dynamic work environment.

This is a full-time position based in a major city in the United States.
