Operations Handler

FedEx Express México is seeking a skilled Operations Handler to join our team. As an Operations Handler, you will be responsible for handling packages within our operations, including manual handling, sort activities, screening, and completing related administration or paperwork.

1. Package Delivery and Pickup: Provide efficient and safe delivery and pickup of packages, ensuring proper labeling, legality of content, and special requirements for hazardous material shipments.
2. Package Inspection and Documentation: Check packages to ensure accuracy and completeness of paperwork, including airway bills, delivery records, and vehicle condition.
3. Customer Service and Sales: Seek additional business from current customers, inform Station Ops. Manager and Sales of changes in customer/competitor efforts, and load and unload company aircraft and vehicles in a safe manner.
4. Warehouse and Logistics: Audit size and weight of packages and boxes, sort packages, and ensure the use of safety equipment and full compliance with FedEx safety policies and procedures.
5. Vehicle Operations and Maintenance: Operate company vehicles in a safe and secure manner, perform basic maintenance, and ensure vehicles are clean, washed, and have proper tire pressure.

• Education: Middle School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Experience operating ramp and warehouse equipment preferred, ability to lift 70 lbs, and to maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• Skills: Basic English skills, accuracy and attention to detail, planning and organizing skills, problem-solving skills, and team working skills.

This role requires working variable shifts and may involve working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be committed to providing excellent customer service.
