This Senior Reservoir Engineer position is responsible for supporting the development and exploration of offshore fields in shallow and deep-water environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of reservoir characterization, specifically in complex Turbidite environments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and evaluation of PTA;
- Validation and quality control of acquired information;
- Conventional reservoir engineering validation and QC;
- Field development concepts for offshore fields;
- Production profiles generation through DCA, material balance, or numerical simulation;
- Economic feasibility analysis of subsurface activities;
- HSE compliance and technical guidelines adherence;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering or related field;
- Master's degree in petroleum engineering or energy-related field (desirable);
- Over fifteen years of experience in reservoir engineering with strong technical understanding of reservoir characterization;
- Proficient in conventional reservoir engineering tools and numerical reservoir simulation software;
