About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Expert to join our team in Mexico City. This role is part of our international legal organization, providing legal advice to all our global markets.

Job Description
  • Maintain knowledge of new and emerging legal developments impacting LATAM, with a focus on Mexico operations, identifying trends, and potential impacts on business activities.
  • Review, analyze, and negotiate high-complexity business contracts.
  • Provide consultancy services to internal clients on complex matters, including labor, civil, consumer protection, commercial, regulatory/antitrust, immigration, intellectual property, and data privacy.
  • Manage corporate law, including elaboration and review of corporate acts, such as minutes of shareholders' meetings, amendments to articles of incorporation, and issuance of powers of attorney.
  • Oversee litigation and potential litigation issues, actively participating in the development of judicial and extrajudicial strategies for cases.
Requirements
  • A current practicing attorney license in Mexico, with active BAR registration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience advising clients on new and changing regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams globally.
  • Judgment, analytical rigor, clear communication, and business pragmatism.
  • Comfort with risk-taking and creative problem-solving.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
