Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Danfoss in Reynosa, MX.
About the Role
This position will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of assigned equipment, executing preventive and corrective maintenance programs at the extrusion area or other assigned areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement corrective maintenance applied to his area, machines, and equipment;
- Review and interpret electrical diagrams, plans, and technical drawings;
- Execute preventive maintenance to equipment that is inactive during the week or programmed;
- Implement equipment or process improvements proactively;
- Identify, solve, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical problems in the production team;
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Electromechanics or mechatronic technical degree (Engineer career desired);
- Experience of 1 year in automated equipment. 2 years of experience in preventive maintenance;
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes;
- Computer skills, (Microsoft Office, PLC, test stand);
- Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics;
- Knowledge of Programming PLC and preventive maintenance;
- Outstanding safety record and approach to behavioral based safety using proper PPE;
