We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Quality Engineer Manager to join our team at TE Connectivity. As a key member of our Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Planning and Control: Develop and implement quality planning and controls for prototype and/or sample builds, and manage build records and documents.
- Design Review and Analysis: Organize and facilitate Design Review (DR) and Design Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (DFMEA) reviews.
- Process Capability Studies: Conduct and analyze process capability studies in support of Final Tool Approval (FTAR) for all tools and production lines associated with the project.
- Quality Control and Documentation: Implement quality controls and documentation needed for production shop floor, and monitor process capability and oversee ongoing corrective actions as required.
- Customer and Quality System Audit: Support the customer and quality system audit as required.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree (High School +4 years) and 10+ years of employment experience.
- Quality Control Experience: Quality control experience in cable assembly / connector / socket or relevant industry.
- ISO9001 Quality System: Understand ISO9001 quality system.
- SPC, FMEA, MSA, and 7-QC Tools: Be good at SPC, FMEA, MSA, and 7-QC tools.
- Statistical Process Control Techniques: Experienced in Statistical Process control techniques.
- Model Based Dimensioning (MBD) and GD&T: Understand Model Based Dimensioning (MBD) and requirements, and understand GD&T definition and requirements.
- APQP Procedure and EIA-364 Test Procedures: Be good at APQP procedure and requirements, and be familiar with EIA-364 test procedures.
