This role is situated within our Advanced Safety & User Experience division.

Overview:

Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Chief Engineer to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness through strategic and tactical initiatives in cybersecurity engineering. Spearhead and manage product cybersecurity strategies and implementations to ensure alignment with customer expectations and adherence to internal protocols. The Cybersecurity Lead will engage closely with customer engineering project teams and various functional team members to carry out the established technical vision, monitor project progress, and assess performance metrics related to cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver expert cybersecurity guidance and oversight for product development, utilizing extensive knowledge of ISO 21434 Proactively oversee design and architecture, applying current industry best practices to effectively address threats while fulfilling requirements with minimal risk and appropriate security measures, enabling maximum reuse of both architectural components and implementations Provide cybersecurity expertise and oversight throughout software, hardware, and manufacturing development processes (including cryptographic key management) across the entire product development lifecycle Accountable for creating cybersecurity plans and deliverables

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field) 3+ years of professional experience in the Automotive Industry or Consumer Electronics Bilingual – proficient in English speaking/reading/writing Strong interpersonal skills, analytical abilities, problem-solving capabilities, and a constructive approach to challenges Cross-functional interests, driven and self-motivated. Adaptable and comfortable with uncertainty Ability to effectively juggle multiple projects simultaneously Excellent soft skills: adept at networking, influencing, continuous learning, and demonstrating a positive ownership mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in defining and executing cybersecurity methodologies for comprehensive electronics product delivery Practical knowledge and experience in areas such as: Software security feature implementation in both embedded and network contexts (secure boot, gateways, network isolation, secure updates, etc.), Automotive networking (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc.) is desirable but not mandatory, Wireless (cellular, satellite, Bluetooth) protocols, Embedded hardware security (Hardware trust anchor / HSM), Security in over-the-air updates, Familiarity with vehicle architectures and variations across multiple OEMs is advantageous but not required
