Job Summary

The Accounting Specialist will play a critical role in managing our financial data, ensuring accuracy and reliability while meeting regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze and record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and clean up accounting accounts.
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
  • Ensure tax compliance by preparing and filing tax returns (e.g., VAT, income tax).
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required information.
  • Conduct variance and trend analyses on accounting accounts.
  • Identify and propose improvements to financial and accounting processes.
  • Cordinate with other departments to ensure proper integration of financial information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Accounting or tax certifications are a plus (optional based on company needs).

  • 2+ years of experience in similar roles.

  • English language proficiency - Advanced.

  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and teamwork.

  • Time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.

  • Experience with accounting processes, taxes, and ERP Oracle.

  • Strong understanding of local accounting standards (IFRS/NIF) and tax regulations.

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial analysis tools.
