Job SummaryWe are currently recruiting for a Design Engineer APC to join our existing Industrial Air Quality Business Unit team in our Power & Industrial Division.
Key Responsibilities- Perform technical reviews of customer specifications coming from the sales department.
- Review technical proposals that meet customer specifications and AAF standards.
- Review customer orders for accuracy and alignment with AAF proposals.
- Provide technical assistance to customers and the engineering team as required.
- Participate in meetings or direct communication with customers to assist in the resolution of problems or complaints.
- Prepare and distribute literature, technical data, and promotional material.
- Maintain a teamwork philosophy to facilitate problem-solving and provide good customer service.
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to determine the best solution to meet customer requirements.
- Use drafting and design tools to support project and product performance, cost, specification, sales, and project 3D/2D drawings generation, fabrication work packages, part number generation and maintenance, and translation to ERP tools.
- Travel as required to make duct work surveys and meet customer requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required. Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Structural / Chemical / Mechatronics or related.
- Technical English spoken, written, reading & listening (medium – high level).
- At least 3 years of relevant engineering experience with a demonstrated record of success working within an engineered products and systems business.
- Engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial type industry (automotive, HVAC, industrial equipment).
- Experience working with global teams. Americas, Europe, Middle East, or Asia.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.
- Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving, quantitative, and business analysis skills, as well as mediation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to share skills and knowledge with others.
- Proficiency with office computer equipment and software.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced office setting.
