About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Import/Export Specialist to join our team at ICON. As an Import/Export Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating import/export operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Import/Export Coordination: Coordinate import/export shipments, including communication with clients, brokers, customs, and completion of necessary documentation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including GCP, Dangerous Goods, Cold Chain Supply, and IATA legislation.
- Logistics Management: Manage logistics activities, including certification, monitoring of regulatory requirements, and analysis of assigned cases.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, brokers, customs, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth import/export operations.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export activities, preferably in the clinical trial industry.
- Education: Degree in Logistics, Economics, ADM, or related field.
- Skills: Advanced level of spoken and written English, good verbal and written communication skills, and experience in medical equipment is desirable.
